our camp

Camp512 was awesome! Love the super fun and unique activities everyday!
— The Aldrine Family

We live in the greatest city in the world. Why not fully immerse ourselves in its rich history, cultural diversity, and natural wonders? Camp 512 is a safe space for ALL children to form friendships, practice independence, take reasonable risks, learn about Austin, and have FUN!

One of the best camps I’ve been to! Camp 512 staff went above and beyond! Camp 512 is an adventure that will last forever.

Our Mission

Our hands-on approach to discovery will leave your children in awe of their hometown. Shhh, they won't even know they are learning!

What a fun camp, the kids had a blast and looked forward to a new local adventure everyday. I have lived in Austin a long time and I haven’t even done some of the things they did during the week. The staff were amazing and just a ton of fun. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The only ‘complaint’ was that the week went too fast!

Mrs. A

owner/DIRECTOR

Brooke is a Native Austinite with 10 years of teaching experience in Eanes ISD. She is driven by her family, creative writing, running 1/2 marathons, and keeping Austin weird with her chickens and goats (her newest loves). When she’s not exploring ATX, she acts as head house manager for Casa Alkire and can likely be found in the car chauffeuring her son, Preston, to acting and daughter, Kennedy, to gymnastics.

Mr. P

owner/DIRECTOR

Blake has lived in Austin since 1992 and loves exploring all that this great city and surrounding areas have to offer. For several years, he was a 4th grade teacher at Barton Creek Elementary. The relationships and experiences made there inspired Mr. P to spend time showing off his favorite city to some of his favorite people. There isn’t a weekend that goes by that you can’t find him outside with his wife Suzie and boys, Max and Theo. For him, there really is no place like Austin, Texas.

She has lived in Austin for 18 years and loves everything about it. “I love being on the lake, hanging at Zilker, and exploring the music and food scene! I hope to come back after school!” We had the pleasure of welcoming Haley last summer, and she’s back for more!

Marolyn

To know her is to LOVE her! Marolyn Smith is a retired teacher with over 30 years experience in Eanes ISD. Her passion has always been Science. During her time in Eanes, she organized overnight trips to Port Aransas for the 4th graders each year. For over 20 years, all of the students saw and learned about the habitats found in the ocean. She looks forward to sharing that love with our campers!
